HAWAII REVISITED FUNDRAISING RULES AND REGULATIONS




1. A $250 non refundable, non transferable to the next year, deposit is required to sign up as an individual entrant for Hawaii Revisited. A $250 non refundable, non transferable to the next year, deposit is required to sign up as a relay team member ($750 for the entire team). You must provide your Visa or MasterCard information as a guarantee. Your entire entry fee is due by August 1, 2009. Your credit card may be charged for your remaining entry fees due. 2. Please send your fundraising dollars in as you receive them. Be sure to clearly mark your name on the donations you send in and we will track your progress. 3. Please enter your donations received offline as pending on your fundraising headquarters web page. 4. Fundraising dollars towards prizes are over and above your entry fee. 5. Fundraising prizes are not cumulative. 6. Winners may substitute a prize from a lower level. 7. We reserve the right to substitute prizes of equal or greater value.

8. Donated product does not count towards your fundraising goal unless the CAF was going to purchase that product anyway. Fundraising credit would be for the price CAF was going to pay. Prior approval must be received from the CAF Executive Director. 9. A $20 NSF fee will be charged for all NSF checks 10. All fundraising dollars must be in by 5:00 p.m. Pacific Standard Time on August 10, 2009 in order to be eligible for fundraising prizes offered for the 2009 Hawaii Revisited. 11. To qualify for fundraising prizes you must participate in Hawaii Revisited. 12. You may pursue grant writing on behalf of CAF. You must send in the complete written proposal to CAF Executive Director for approval and signature. We reserve the right to deny submission if it is not written according to CAF guidelines. The grant money must be received prior to October 29th, 2009 to receive credit. 13. All corporate matching funds must be in our office no later than August 10, 2009. We will accept a written letter from your company stating the exact amount that will be distributed and the date it will be sent. All checks must be in CAF office no later than Dec 31, 2009 in order to count for your 2009 fundraising. 14. We will refund 50% of your entry fee if you become injured prior to the event (with doctor’s verification). 15. Entry fee for next year can’t be subtracted from fundraising over amount raised for fundraising prize. You can opt for entry into next year’s race in lieu of a fundraising prize. 16. You must notify the CAF staff as to what fundraising prize you wish to receive prior to September 15, 2009. 17. Relay teams can combine their fundraising dollars to get a joint prize, or they may fundraise individually (the only prize exempt from relay team members is the Ironman spot).
